Mindset is important, not just for an entrepreneur but for anyone aiming to achieve their goals. It is a known fact that by starting your day of with a ‘win’, you are more likely to carry that success on throughout the day and that’s down to the mentality and the subconscious feeling of obtaining that first ‘win’.

Making your bed

Now, I know I’m going to sound like a parent here but there is a mental benefit of completing this very simple task first thing in the morning. It is an easy win!

Why?

Starting your day of with making your bed gives you the subconscious feeling of completing a task. This makes it easier to complete your next one. You’ll feel a sense of success and this will contribute to a positive outlook and a healthy mindset.

These tiny ‘wins’ can be any task that you feel a sense of accomplishment in doing. I will often make my partner a cup of tea for when she wakes up, and by doing so I am effectively completing a task and establishing a ‘do it’ mindset, which is made all the better by the look on her face when she wakes up to a lovely morning cuppa!

We are experience tough times in 2020, and it’s important for us to indulge in the small wins and keep a healthy mindset. Start your next 30 days with completing a ‘task’ and you will note a dramatic difference by the end of the month.
